Jerry and Sandra Streater Endowed Scholarship

The Jerry and Sandra Streater Endowed Scholarship was established by Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Streater of Conroe, Texas. Mr. Streater graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1961 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He served on the SHSU Alumni Association board from 1998 to 2000. Mr. Streater was a member of the Conroe City Council and served as Mayor Pro Tem, and represented the City of Conroe in Austin regarding legislative issues affecting municipalities.
