Kellie Ann (Jenkins) Whitley Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Kellie Ann (Jenkins) Whitley Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established by Mark G. Whitley in memory of his wife Kellie Ann Whitley. During her senior year at Sam Houston, Kellie was diagnosed with a very rare cancer. With great strength and courage, Kellie continued school and received her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1993 and taught for 10 years in the Spring ISD as a fifth-grade math teacher. On May 5, 2007, after 15 years of fighting the battle, her body relented to the cancer but her spirit remains strong and unbelievably hopeful for her children.
