Walker County Stay Local Scholarship

The Walker County Stay Local Scholarship was established in 2024 by Sam Houston State University to provide a financial incentive to local high school seniors to attend SHSU. This scholarship aims to strengthen the university’s relationship with the local community by promoting the continuing of local home school and high school students’ education.
