Major Harper-Terry Endowed Scholarship

Major D Haprer-Terry is a native of the greater Houston area and graduated from Lovelady High School. After high school, Major came to Sam Houston State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Management in 2003. He is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi and Alpha Phi Alpha as well and an Endowed Life Member of the SHSU Alumni Association. Major’s career experiences include management, telecommunications, sales, and most recently, logistics and transportation through his employment at SBMSF Railway, which began in 2013. In 2020, Major founded HarperT Investments LLC., a successful real estate investment company. He served in the Texas Army National Guard from 2010-2016.
