Smith-Hutson EMBA Scholarship

The Smith-Hutson Scholarship program is a need-based scholarship. Since 1996, the program has awarded 722 undergraduate scholarships to SHSU students. All recipients have an established financial need with approximately 77% being first generation. The creation of the new Smith-Hutson EMBA Scholarship complements the existing undergraduate program, as well as the Smith-Hutson Endowed Chair of Banking, and further enhances the donor’s vision to make a meaningful change to the lives of the program’s recipients. These scholarships are up to a total of $40,000 for First Year students (full two-year program) and up to $20,000 for Second Year students.
