Nurseify Excellence in Nursing Scholarship

This agreement was established by Nurseify, Inc. and Benjamin Foster of Houston, Texas. Founded in 2020 by former Houston healthcare executive, Benjamin Foster, Nurseify is an on-demand, gig economy, staffing application for nurses and healthcare facilities looking to fill short-term assignments. Nurseify, Inc. is also a certified Minority-Business Enterprise and works tirelessly to address healthcare inequities in the greater Houston area and across the world. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Nurseify is committed to nursing excellence and wants to empower nurse entrepreneurs to work on their terms and help facilities to keep their units staffed. After learning more about the nursing students at SHSU, Nurseify believes SHSU nursing students embody the mission, vision, and values of Nurseify. SHSU’s efforts to incorporate cultural competence training into the nursing program’s curriculum will equip SHSU nursing students to provide exceptional care to all patients.
