L.B. and Ragna Lynn Billingsley Scholarship

This scholarship is being established in the memory of L.B. Billingsley and in honor of Ragna Lynn Hawthorne Billingsley to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students majoring in any discipline. After serving in the US Army 8th Air Force from 1941-1945, L.B. opened a successful auto parts business in Crockett, Texas. Ten years later, L.B. and Lynn moved their family to Huntsville, Texas. Soon after arriving in Huntsville, Lynn began her Bachelor’s Degree at Sam Houston State Teachers College and graduated in 1961. L.B. passed away in April 1985. Lynn currently resides on the family ranch in Walker County.
