Johnson-Brown-Perkins Endowed Scholarship

The Johnson-Brown-Perkins Scholarship was established by Preston Johnson, Jr. in honor of his brother, Randy Johnson, and his father-in-law, Edd Brown, Sr. Preston Johnson was a 1974 graduate of Leon High School in Jewett, Texas, received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Sam Houston State University in 1977 and a master of business administration in industrial management from the University of Houston in 1983. It is the Donor’s intent to provide one annual scholarship award to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
