Ingrid Scholarship

Ingrid was a proud 2010 graduate of Sam Houston State University. She loved history, geography, travel and she often spoke about her dreams and goals of becoming a teacher, getting married, going to graduate school and becoming a history professor. Ingrid loved writing and nothing describes her spirit better than these words she wrote shortly before her passing in February 2012: “What you do for you i sgone when you are gone, what you do for others remains your legacy.” This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
