H. H. "Tubby "and Nuna Sandel Endowed Scholarship

H. H. “Tubby” and Nuna Sandel were the parents of Joe Sandel, donor, who attended Sam Houston State University. Winnie Sandel, also a donor, received her elementary education degree from Sam Houston in 1956. Joe Sandel attended Sam Houston for two years, before transferring to the University of Texas, where he graduated. The HH “Tubby” and Nuna Sandel Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship available to incoming freshmen students graduating from a high school in Walker County, Texas
