Georgia Donna (Jordan) Mize Memorial Scholarshi

Donna graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1942 with a bachelor of science degree in education and minors in physical education, science and English. She taught school for many years before retiring. Floyd attended Sam Houston State University in 1940 and 1941 before he left to fight in WWII. He returned the summer of 1972, taking 12 credit hours. He was employed at South Dakota State University, in Brookings, SD, in Student Personnel, serving as a counselor. Donna and Floyd have two children, Patricia Mize Eastman and Ron Mize, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
