Earl H. Burrough Scholarship

The Earl H. Burrough Scholarship was set up in memory of Earl H. Burrough by his son Robert E. Burrough in 1979 through a trust administered by Bank of America formally known as the Chase. Schreiner Bank of Kerrville, Texas. Earl Burrough, was devoted to education and he worked odd jobs to sustain himself in college when no student aid or loans were available. Mr. Burrough went on to work his way through college and law school. It is the Donor’s intent for the trust to provide one or more annual scholarship awards to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
