Clay Dyer Criminal Justice Undergraduate Endowed Scholarship
Clay Dyer, an outstanding student through his innate qualities of self-discipline, integrity, and hard work, graduated cum laude from Sam Houston State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice on August 13, 1994. Before his tragic and untimely death in August 1995, Clay Dyer named the College of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University as the sole beneficiary of his life insurance policy. In concert with Clay Dyer’s family, in his memory and in tribute to his personal characteristics, this scholarship is being established to provide financial assistance to determined students who desire to pursue higher education in the criminal justice discipline at Sam Houston State University.
