Claude H. and Alice M. Townsend Scholarship

The Townsend Scholarship is awarded by Sam Houston State University in memory of Claude H. and Alice M. Townsend. It is awarded to those students with strong financial need whose academic accomplishments and capabilities are excellent in every respect. As a Townsend Scholar, you will receive up to six hundred twenty-five dollars ($625.00) for two semesters of your freshman year at Sam Houston State University.
