William B. Green International Business Endowed Scholarship
Dr. Green received is B.B.A. from Lamar University in 1965. and both his Masters in 1968 and his Ph.D. in 1974 from Louisiana State University He began his career as a graduate teaching assistant at Louisiana State University in 1966. He served as Assistant Professor of Economics at Northwestern University of Louisiana from 1971-72. From 1972-74 he was instructor of Economics, Louisiana State. While at Sam Houston, he served many roles. In addition to him teaching at SHSU. Dr. Green is published, has presented papers at professional meetings. written manuscripts and working papers, received grants, reviewed books, hosted and wrote television programs, given workshops, seminars, short courses and speeches, lead panel discussions, and given speeches. He also served on several review boards and held memberships in professional associations. He served the community of Huntsville in a variety of positions, including serving as mayor (1995-2003). Huntsville/Walker County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (1994 to present). and numerous positions with various organizations.
