The Crowley/Gilbert Family Scholarship

The Crowley/Gilbert Family Scholarship is established by sisters Amanda Crowley and Kathleen Gilbert of Huntsville, Texas. Amanda and Kathleen are both graduates of Sam Houston State University. The sisters come from a lower/middle class family and were fortunate to receive scholarships that allowed them to focus on their academics while in school. After graduation, they continued on to work at SHSU and have remained here for over ten years as of 2022. Together, they want their scholarship to assist students in achieving their goals and pave the way to a successful future.
