Smither Family Art Endowed Scholarship

This endowment was established in honor of Edward Murray Smither, Marsha and Dan Philips, James Surls, and in memory of Stephanie and John Smither. The donors, John Kerr Smither, Paige Smither, Johnson and Ashley Smither Langley are children of Stephanie and John Smither. To celebrate their parents’ extraordinary lives, the donors, along with their families, wish to honor the past by supporting the future of art and continuing the passionate philanthropic spirit of the Smither family. Their hope is that the recipients of this scholarship will bring beauty, civility, and inspiration into many lives.
