Elwood Parkhill Memorial Accounting Endowed Scholarship

Elwood Parkhill received his B.B.A. in accounting from then Sam Houston State Teachers College in 1946. He was one of the five original faculty members hired by the College of Business Administration’s Department of Accounting in the late 1940’s. Professor Parkhill taught and practiced accounting for 38 years until his death in 1982. This scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to students who wish to pursue graduate studies in accounting.
