WJP Support Scholarship

Wyatt attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance in 2015. He was on the Bearkat Baseball team, and they won the Southland Conference Championship three years in a row from 2012-2014. Jennifer attended SHSU and graduated with a B.S. in Nursing, magna cum laude. Wyatt and Jennifer met on campus in 2011 and married in 2015. SHSU orange runs through the blood of the Powell Family as both of them have alumni in their families. This scholarship was established by the Powell Family in hopes that it will help high achieving students achieve their scholastic and professional dreams.
