Margaret A. Conwell Memorial Musical Theatre Endowed Scholarship

The Margaret A. Conwell Memorial Musical Theatre Endowed Scholarship was established by Dr. Halford R. Conwell of Huntsville, Texas; Sherri Boyd of Houston, Texas; and Mark A. Conwell of Humble, Texas in memory of Margaret Ann Conwell, beloved wife and mother of the donors. Margaret received her BBA at Sam Houston State University in 1971. It is the Donor’s intent for the endowment to provide two or more annual scholarship awards at a minimum of $1,000 each to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. Scholarship awards shall not exceed 90% of the earnings of the endowment. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
