Joe and Judy Emmett Softball Scholarship

The Joe and Judy Emmett Softball Scholarship was established by Joseph P. Emmett and Judy Timpa Emmett of Huntsville, Texas to provide financial assistance to selected students. Judy Emmett graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. It is the Donors’ intent to provide funding for a $2,000 scholarship to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
