The Thelma Jean Barnes Townley Scholarship was established by Charles W. Jones of Frisco, Texas in honor of Thelma Barnes Townley to provide financial assistance to students majoring in theatre or dance. Mr. Jones is a 1981 graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BBA in Finance.
