Katherine "Kat" Charles Volleyball Scholarship

The Katherine “Kat” Charles Volleyball Scholarship was established by Brenda Gray of Huntsville, Texas in memory of Sam Houston State University student and volleyball player Katherine “Kat” Charles. Ms. Charles was an outstanding athlete in the SHSU volleyball program from 1982 through 1985 and was selected as an All-American. It is the Donor’s intent to provide one or more annual scholarship awards to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
