Thomas W. Satre Endowed Scholarship

Dr. Thomas Satre started teaching at Sam Houston State University in 1972 until his retirement in 1998. While at SHSU, Dr. Satre designed and wrote the proposal for a major in philosophy. At retirement, Dr. Satre was serving as director of the philosophy. This scholarship was established in memory of Professor Thomas W. Satre by his family and friends to provide financial assistance to deserving students.
