Russell D. and Glenda J. Gordy Rodeo Program Endowed Scholarship

Russell D. and Glenda J. Gordy Rodeo Program Endowed Scholarship was established by Russell D. and Glenda J. Gordy of Houston, Texas to express their dedication to the importance of education in all chosen fields of learning and to emphasize the value of a quality rodeo program at Sam Houston State University. Both Russell and Glenda Gordy graduated from Sam Houston State University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees respectively. They were both the first in their family to attend college.
