Laurence L. Corley Endowed Scholarship

The Laurence L. Corley Scholarship was established in 1987 by Dr. James Gilmore in memory of Laurence L. Corley, a professor in the College of Business at Sam Houston for 39 years until his retirement in 1987. He served as Chairman of the Department of General Business for four years. Dr. Gilmore dedicated over 40 years as a faculty member and dean in the College of Business Administration, retiring as Vice President for Academic Affairs in 1987.
