Weldon Hall, Jr. Endowed Scholarship in English

The Weldon Hall, Jr. Endowed Scholarship in English was established through the estate of Weldon Hall, Jr. in his memory. Mr. Hall’s father, Weldon Hall, Sr., was a lumberman in Huntsville, TX. The family was originally from Dodge, TX. His father worked in the lumber yard on Avenue L in Huntsville to send his children to school. Weldon Hall, Jr. received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Sam Houston State University in 1942.
