Leonard and Marlene Keeling Endowed Scholarship

The Leonard and Marlene Keeling Scholarship was established by Leonard and Marlene Keeling in memory of (1) Eloise Hall Keeling, Len Keeling’s mother, (2) Elwood Parkhill and Dr. Rita Bell Huff, Len Keeling’s accounting professors and mentors at Sam Houston, (3) Wayne Rainwater, Len’s employer while at Sam Houston, and (4) Dr. and Mrs. James F. Gaertner, the 11th President and First Lady of Sam Houston State University. Leonard “Len” Keeling received his BBA in accounting from SHSU in 1963.
