Susan Schember Holtkamp Endowed Scholarship

The Susan Schember Holtkamp Endowed Scholarship was established by Victor E. and Marion E. Schember in honor of their daughter, Susan Schember Holtkamp, a 1965 Sam Houston graduate, who taught in elementary education at College Station and Midland, Texas. It is the Donor’s intent for the endowment to provide one annual scholarship award for a minimum of $225 to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. Scholarship awards shall not exceed the earnings of the endowment. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
