Isaiah Ray Memorial Music Education Endowed Scholarship

Isaiah Ray was a 2006 graduate of Sam Houston State University. He earned a Bachelor of Music with Teacher Certification and was committed to being a public school teacher. He was a vivacious young man with terrific interpersonal and leadership skills. Upon graduating, he accepted an Assistant Band Director’s position at Canyon Ridge Middle School in the Leander ISD. Isaiah lost his life in a tragic automobile accident commuting from Houston to Leander. This scholarship is in his memory.
