Logan Bennett-Lyons Criminal Justice Scholarship

Logan Bennett-Lyons was born in China’s Jiangsu province in late 2000. Unable to provide medical care for an acute condition at the time of his birth, his first family left him in the care of the Social Welfare Institute in Changshu, which arranged for the necessary treatment and continued providing care for him until his adoption by Eric Bennett and Phillip Lyons in 2002. The Bennett-Lyons family has established this scholarship to provide support for a student with demonstrated financial need who was adopted as a child or had been in foster care.
