Pollard Family Endowed Scholarship

Liberty C. Pollard grew up in El Campo, is a first-generation American, and earned her B.S. in Elementary Education and M.A. in Education degrees from SHSU. Liberty taught school for 38 years and received several teaching awards. J.M. Pollard grew up in Trinity, is a fifth-generation Texan, served in the U.S. Navy, and earned his B.S. in Agriculture and Master of Education degrees from SHSU. This scholarship was established by Trisha and Randy Pollard in loving memory of Randy’s mother, Liberty C. Pollard and Randy’s father, J.M Pollard.
