Harold R. Bradley Music Scholarship
Harold R. Bradley is a Country Music Hall of Famer and the most prolific studio musician of all time. He was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Musicians Hall of Fame. He was an original member of what was known as the “A Team” in Nashville who were considered the best musicians who recorded on over 15,000 sessions. Harold has recorded with approximately 61 members of the Country Music Hall of Fame and 26 members of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Charles W. Jones III established this scholarship to honor Harold Bradley and to support music students at SHSU. Charles W. Jones III is a life member of the Sam Houston State University Alumni Association and funds numerous scholarships each year.
