Dana Steigerwald Endowed Scholarship

This endowment is being established by the estate of Richard Dana Steigerwald in his memory to provide financial assistance to selected students who have met the criteria outlined. Richard “Dana” Steigerwald was born October 15, 1939, the first son of Walter and Elizabeth Steigerwald from Akron. Ohio. He finished his education graduating from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. For the last twenty-seven years, Dana was self-employed as a CPA in Houston. He also taught college classes for CPA candidates. His successful CPA business allowed him to invest wisely over the years and make contributions to various charities.
