Edgar A. and Carolyn L. Reeves Family Endowed Scholarship

Edgar A. and Carolyn L. Reeves of Houston, Texas along with their sons, Randal A. Reeves, of Tomball, Texas and Denman Wayne Reeves, of The Woodlands, Texas established the Edgar A. and Carolyn L. Reeves Family Endowed Scholarship to provide financial support to deserving students pursuing a degree in agriculture. Edgar obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Sam Houston State University in 1956. Both of his sons, Randy and Wayne are Sam Houston graduates, 1981 and 1983, respectively. It is the Donor’s intent for the endowment to provide one or more annual scholarship awards at a minimum of $1,000 each to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. Scholarship awards shall not exceed 80% of the earnings of the endowment. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
