John F. Wilson Memorial Physics Scholarship

Dr. John F. Wilson completed his initial B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.B.A before beginning his career with I.E. Dupont de Nemours in Wilmington, DE. During his time, he also completed his B.S. in Physics and began graduate physics studies. He was later brought to Texas by family and work and found a passion for teaching at Houston Community College. In 1994 he joined the Physics Department a the University of Houston and transferred to Sam Houston State University after early retirement. This scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Wilson by his wife.
