Glyn and Martha Gilliam Endowed Scholarship

Mr. Johnny G. “Glyn” Gilliam and Martha E. Gilliam established the Glyn and Martha Gilliam Endowed Scholarship in memory of Mr. T. J. Honeycutt, a former professor of agricultural sciences and Head Teacher Trainer at Sam Houston State University. Glyn Gilliam, originally from Donie, Texas was the youngest of nine children. He was a first generation college student and one of two in his family to graduate from SHSU.
