Ann Crump and Charles T. Mallery Master of Science in Agriculture Endowed Scholarship

Charles and Ann Mallery both grew up in Huntsville, where getting a higher education was “all in the family,” each with several family members with bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Sam Houston. Demonstrating that everyone has a right to, and a need to, acquire an education, both Charles’ and Ann’s parents and grandparents encouraged their children to attend college and continue their higher learning process. Their families have been connected to SHSU for three generations and for more than two centuries. Charles graduated from SHSU with a B.B.A. in 1956, and Ann graduated from SHSU with B.A. in English in 1958. Because of their love for higher education, The Mallery’s established this scholarship to assist graduate students throughout their journey in earning a master’s degree.
