Melissa Renee Sinclair Criminal Justice Scholarship

The Melissa Renee Sinclair Criminal Justice Scholarship was established in memory of Melissa Renee Sinclair by members of her family. Melissa was a senior Criminal Justice major at Sam Houston at the time of her death in March 1998. The tragic accident that claimed her life represents a great loss not only to her family, but to a field sorely in need of the kind of dedication and spirit she exemplified. Her degree was conferred posthumously in the May 1998 graduation ceremony.
