Odell Weatherly Hall and Charles E. Hall Education Endowed Scholarship

Odell Weatherly Hall and Charles E. Hall Education Endowed Scholarship was established in memory of Mrs. Lela Odell Weatherly Hall class of ’28 by her family to provide financial assistance to education majors. Mrs. Hall, who graduated from Sam Houston in 1928, exemplified the highest ideals in humanity and education by opening her heart and her home to Sam Houston students for all the years that she maintained a home in Huntsville. Mrs. Hall provided many students with a place to live in her home, at no cost, while pursing their studies.
