Football and basketball games, parades, Pioneer Roundup and special programs on campus occupied a good portion of her time. Since there were very few students with cars on campus, she walked to the movies downtown, ate black-bottom pie at The Texan Café, and often would walk to church in downtown Huntsville. Moses, Professor and Director of Teacher Training in Vocational Agriculture. Following graduation from Sam Houston State Teachers College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1956, Loretta began her career with Humble Oil & Refining Company in Hardin, Texas, as secretary for the engineering department. Loretta retired to Hardin, Texas, where she now enjoys life in the country with her pets.
