Psychology Scholarship Endowment in memory of John Symonds and Patrick Weber

The Department of Psychology at Sam Houston State University established this scholarship in memory of former faculty members John Symonds and Patrick Weber. Both Dr. Symonds and Dr. Weber were original charter members of the Department of Psychology faculty. Dr. Symonds taught and did research in several areas including social psychology, sleep research, cross-culture research, and social relationships. Dr. Weber was often viewed as a mentor to younger faculty and taught history of psychology and statistics.
