Comparative Criminal Justice Scholarship

The International Comparative Criminal Justice Scholarship was established by the College of Criminal Justice to promote the comparative study and understanding of different criminal justice systems around the globe. The Criminal Justice program at Sam Houston State University is one of the largest and oldest criminal justice programs in the nation. The College of Criminal Justice continues to be at the forefront of the profession and scholarship in criminal justice, with influence at the local, state, national and international levels. It is the Donor’s intent to provide one or more annual scholarship awards at a minimum of $1,000 each to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
