Drs. Robert and Vidisha Worley Criminal Justice Scholarship

The Drs. Robert and Vidisha Worley Criminal Justice Scholarship was established by Dr. Robert M. Worley in honor of his parents Bob Worley and Lonnie Gisi to provide financial assistance to motivated undergraduate students with opportunities to further their education in the field of criminal justice. Robert M. Worley earned his doctorate in criminal justice at Sam Houston State University while working full-time as a correctional officer. It is the Donor’s intent to provide one or more annual scholarship awards at a minimum of $1,000 each to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
