Ruth Lynn and Jack C. Parker Endowed Scholarship

Jack Parker received his B.B.A. in Accounting from then Sam Houston State Teachers College in 1964 and Master of Education from Texas A&M University in 1969. Jack, a certified public accountant, retired as the Vice President for Finance and Operations in October 2008, after 42 years of dedicated and distinguished service to Sam Houston State University. Ruth Lynn received her B.S. in education in 1964. This scholarship was established by Ruth L. and Jack C. Parker to provide financial assistance to students majoring in Accounting
