Jeff Powell Entrepreneur Endowed Scholarship

Jeff Powell grew up in Denison, Texas. He attended Arkansas State University, before transferring to Sam Houston State University in 1983 to continue his baseball career. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University in 1985, majoring in General Business. Jeff is an entrepreneur. He co-founded Razzoo’s Cajun Cafes in June of 1991 after merger and acquisition work with Grand Metropolitan and Pillsbury Companies. Razzoo ‘s currently owns and operates 23 Razzoo ’s Cajun Café locations and one Tricky Fish. Two new Razzoo’s Cajun Café units opened in 2018 in Pasadena and Lubbock, and a second Tricky Fish location in Fort Worth. An Oklahoma City Razzoo ’s and central DFW Tricky Fish opened 2019.
