James Marcus Smith Endowed Scholarship

The James Marcus Smith Endowed Scholarship was established by Thomas Jefferson Smith of Huntsville, Texas in memory of his father, James Marcus Smith. James Smith was instrumental in the history of Walker County, having been a member of the Huntsville City Council and serving as Mayor of Huntsville from 1935-1936.
