Gene P. Heinrich Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Gene P. Heinrich Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established by Dr. Marie Hayden in memory of her brother. Gene Heinrich attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with his B.B.A. in 1961 and his Master of Business Administration in 1968. Gene served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Kodiac, Alaska. He was President, CEO and founder of American King Fiberglass Corporation of America, Houston, Texas. He retired from there in 2005 and closed the business. He was also the President and founder of Spring Branch Realty, Inc. in Houston, Texas. Gene taught at Texarkana Junior College in Texarkana, Texas, and at Moorehead State University in Moorehead, Kentucky.
