Jean D. Neal Endowed Scholarship

In 1966 Jean Neal was named the first dean of the School of Business Administration and Applied Arts at what was then Sam Houston State College and served in that capacity until 1969. He continued to teach until his official retirement in 1972. This scholarship was established by the College of Business Administration in 1976 in honor of Dr. Jean D. Neal, Sr. Dr. Neal began his career at Sam Houston in 1950 as a business administration faculty member
