W. Tom Thweatt, III Memorial Graduate Fellowship

The W. Tom Thweatt, III Memorial Graduate Fellowship was established by W.T. Jr. (Tom) and Lou Thweatt of Katy, Texas and Anne-Marie Thweatt of College Station, Texas in memory of Tom Thweatt who was a graduate student at SHSU working towards his Master of Arts degree in Counseling before his untimely death in March 2005. It is the Donor’s intent for the endowment to provide one or more annual scholarship awards at a minimum of $5,000 each to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
